So who cares if Israel is a democratic state, which just held elections and voted for a Prime Minister? Apparently for the hotshots at AIPAC, the fact that a wide majority of Israeli’s voted for the right wing is irrelevant, and these delegates are going to decide the future of Israel. There is no explicable reason why AIPAC delegates are going to lobby congressmen all over Washington to sign a letter, supporting a 2 state solution with the Palestinians. Something that newly elected PM Netanyahu opposes.
No offense, but who the hell is AIPAC to make this decision? It’s like sticking a knife into the back of the Israeli public. Here is a news alert: Maybe a 2 state solution would be bad for Israel!
Is the reason for this abuse of power to cozy up to President Obama, who clearly has an agenda that is questionable at best vis-a-vis Israel.
According to the Jpost: ” The pro-Israel advocacy group’s annual conference culminates each year with a mass lobbying effort, in which the thousands of participants from across the United States spread out across Capitol Hill for meetings with their respective members of Congress and encourage them to endorse policies and positions that AIPAC believes will advance the American-Israeli interest.
In this year’s lobbying effort, to take place on Tuesday, the AIPAC thousands will be asking their congressmen to sign on to a letter addressed to Obama that explicitly posits the need for a “viable Palestinian state.”
A ‘viable Palestinian State’…. hello?? The PA won’t acknowledge that Israel is a Jewish state. While you drive home to your palace in New Rochelle feeling good that you are doing good by the Palestinians and ending the injustice that Israel has done to them, those of us who live in Israel, will be dodging missiles, drive-by shooting and other types of terror.
Thanks for selling us out, AIPAC.

While climate change may be a hoax, anti-semitism is alive and well. Even, or more appropriately, especially on college campuses throughout the US. Case in point the latest event at NYU. A student organized an event about climate change, only fool school officials and start marketing an event about Israeli apartheid against the poor Palestinian people.
According to Ynet: “An anti-Israel student event was planned, and then canceled Monday, at New York University (NYU). The student, who has asked to hold an event unrelated to Israel, was actually planning an event to explore Israeli “brutality” against the Palestinians.
After receiving permission to host an event at NYU on May 4, based on a proposal for a forum on climate change, the student responsible then hung flyers for a conference on “The Hidden History of Zionism: The Road to Gaza’s Killing Fields,” to be hosted by the International Socialist Organization, an anti-war Marxist group.
“The recent assault on Gaza by the Israeli military and the continuing economic blockade of the region has shocked millions of people around the world,” read the flyer, which featured a picture of a bloody Gazan child from Israel’s Operation Cast Lead against Hamas.”
I guess that climate change and ‘Israeli apartheid against Palestinians’ are similar; neither is based on much of anything factual.

Well here we have Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama tightening the screws on Israel, linking support for a hard line on Iran to Israeli progress with the Palestinians. She says without progress on the Palestinian negotiations, the world would stop supporting containing the Iranian Nuclear program.
According to the Jpost: “For Israel to get the kind of strong support it is looking for vis-a-vis Iran, it can’t stay on the sidelines with respect to the Palestinians and the peace efforts. They go hand in hand,” Clinton told the House of Representatives.”
What drivel. If she hasn’t noticed, Iran is a problem for the west, not just Israel. Huge demographic changes in Europe, Asia, and more and more in the US, has fundamentalist Islam on the move. Wake up America but fundamentalist Islam doesn’t like your culture.
Wasn’t it former President Bill Clinton who used to say that his mother aways told him to do what’s right for Israel, and he will be blessed.
Well I guess Hillary didn’t listen to her mother in law.

It appears that a major terror attack was averted just minutes ago, as a Palestinian fishing boat exploded near the Israeli coast. No reports of injuries were reported.
According to ynet: ” IDF sources estimated that the booby-trapped boat was activated by remote control and meant to explode near an Israeli Navy vessel or a coastal community. A naval patrol followed the boat for about an hour and spotted no people on board. As it was several hundred meters off the Gaza shore and heading north the boat exploded.”
A two state solution. When will the Palestinians be held accountable for their continued terror?
