Netanyahu Reiterates Tax Cut Pledge

PM to be Benjamin Netanyahu, has reiterated his pledge that he plans on slashing both individual and corporate taxes as soon as he takes office.
According to Globes:”Prime minister-designate MK Benjamin Netanyahu today reiterated his pledge to cut taxes this year, belying reports to the contrary this morning. Netanyahu’s office released a statement, which said that he was trying to reach a deal with employers and the Histadrut (General Federation of Labor in Israel) to prevent layoffs. “In view of the harsh reality, Netanyahu’s first priority is to cut taxes in 2009.”
This is going to be great. Who would actually think that Israel, with its socialist ties, is going ’supply-side’ to exit the current economic slowdown, and the US, which has been the flag bearer for capitalism, is going down the path of socialism.
To the victors go the spoils.
