Consumer Alert: Osem Recalls Instant Chicken Flavored Soup

If you happen to be lactose intolerent or you keep kosher, stay away from Osem’s chicken-flavored instant meal. According to a Ynet report: “Traces of milk powder were found in the company’s noodle meal, that is meant to be parve (neither meat or milk). Osem issued a public warning on Sunday and the company began recalling the product from sales points. The warning said lab tests carried out following complaints showed concern that traces of milk powder may be found in the product. As a precaution, the company asked consumers allergic or sensitive to milk or any of its components not to consume the product.”

Consumers beware.
